Snapdragon SC7295 in the works, a mid-range chip for ARM laptops based on the S775

Qualcomm has a new Snapdragon 700-series chipset in the works, the SM7350, which may or may not launch as the Snapdragon 775. The base hardware is used for another project too, a chipset for ARM-powered laptops.

That is the SC7295, which will be a successor to the Snapdragon 7c from last year. It will be a mid-range option for Windows and ChromeOS devices and should have the advantage of an integrated 5G modem.

The chip’s CPU will feature the familiar 1+3+4 arrangement. The one prime core will clock up to 2.7 GHz, while the other three big cores will go up to 2.4 GHz. The final four…
