Check out the 3D Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner of the vivo iQOO 8 Pro Yesterday we saw the arrival of the iQOO 8 Pro and vivo claimed the phone had a 3D Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Initially, we overlooked this hardware spec because smartphone companies tend to overexaggerate for marketing purposes, but a video review of the scanner revealed plenty of impressive features.

The scanner is now 578 sq. mm in size, a lot bigger than any other on the market. It is also faster than any we’ve seen in a smartphone, and on top of that, it now reads more than one finger – a lot of these functions were already demoed back in 2018 on the vivo APEX Concept…
