MediaTek Dimensity 7000 likely faster than the Snapdragon 870 MediaTek announced its flagship SoC, the Dimensity 9000, just a couple of days ago and now we have the first rumor about its supposed upper mid-range offering for 2022 – the Dimensity 7000. The information comes from a reputable Chinese tipster on Weibo.

The rumor suggests that MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 7000 chipset has entered the testing phase and is built on TSMC’s 5nm manufacturing process and uses ARM’s new V9 architecture, also implemented in the Dimensity 9000.

It’s still early to talk about clock speeds and CPU configurations but the so-called Digital Chat Station says…

Flashback: the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium was the first ever smartphone with a 4K display Recently Sony decided to embrace the niche status of its smartphones and created the Xperia Pro and Pro-I – rare cases when “pro” actually means “professional”. One is meant to help with live video broadcasts, the other is more of a vlogger’s tool, both make extensive use of that 4K OLED display that was introduced with the Xperia 1 and improved with future releases.

As we discussed last week, both of these options add cost to the phone. So,…

The Moonlight Silver finish is actually mostly white with a dual-toned. Compared to the Black model, this one is a lot more stylish. The color continues onto the frame and the buttons.

There’s a difference in feel as well. The Black…
