Google brings Adaptive Sound to Pixel 6 duo with latest update
The Adaptive Sound feature aims to improve sound quality by dynamically adjusting it depending on your surroundings. It uses the microphone to do that and while the feature has been available for Google’s older Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 phones it was initially missing on the newer Pixel 6 and 6 Pro.
Not for long, apparently. According to a tweet from @MishaalRahman, Google is quietly seeding an OTA update that enables the Adaptive Sound feature to Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro owners. There’s no official word for now and we don’t know when to expect the update.
