Android 12-based RealmeUI 3.0 debuts: first beta to come to Realme GT in October
As promised, RealmeUI 3.0 is was officially detailed today. The OS is redesigned, faster and more secure.
RealmeUI 3.0 has a more spatious design aimed to lower information density by adding more white space. The icons have gone 3D with added outlining and shadows, and are more colorful than the older 2.0 ones.
Android 12’s new theming with interchangeable accent colors is here. Always on display has been updated – you can set any photo that RealmeUI 3.0 will convert to a white on black outline. Realme’s mascot ‘realmeow’ is featured as an AoD element as well.

Right on schedule we saw the debut of the Black Shark 4S and Black Shark 4S Pro. The gaming smartphones brig mostly visual changes with redesigned back and the 4S is even getting a special Gundam Edition. The 4S Pro gets a performance boostas it is now powered by a Snapdragon 888+.
AMD confirmed a performance issue related to its CPUs running on Windows 11. Increased L3 cache latency and sub-optimal thread scheduling could resul in 10-15% drop in performance on certain CPUs.
Realme’s latest product launch brought us the global release of the GT Neo2 alongside several AIoT accessories including a 4K Smart Google TV Stick, a new Bluetooth speaker and a fresh new Closer Green color for the Buds Air 2. Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 was also unveiled on stage too.
Oppo’s K9 and K9 Pro are about to welcome a new member of the series dubbed K9s. Images and specs of the phone leaked all over Weibo, and it appeared on JD.com’s website as well.
The Realme GT Neo2 was introduced in September and quickly became a success in the company’s home market. The brand is now rolling it to international markets and we got a unit in our office to see if it’s got what it takes to compete.
