Google “officially releases” Android 12 but the update for Pixels is only arriving “in the next few weeks”
Google has been running late with the release of Android 12, at least if we compare this year’s timeline to the one from 2020 when it outed Android 11 on the first working Monday of September. Here we are today on the first working Monday of October, and Google is “officially releasing” Android 12, and pushing its source to the Android Open Source Project.

Back in August Tecno unveiled its Spark 8 midranger and it looks like it will be joined by a Spark 8P soon. The yet to be announced 8P appeared in new renders complete with a preliminary spec list. The same device was previously seen in a Google Play Console listing with specs that match the new leak.
The new Apple Watch Series 7 arrives a couple of weeks after the iPhone 13 series went on sale. Pre-orders start this Friday, October 8, availability is set for October 15 (Friday next week). Here’s the list: Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Korea, the UAE, the UK, the US plus more than 50 other countries.
A Motorola Moto G31 is on the way and it will wear a 50MP camera on its back. You can see it in the photos by the NCC that were taken as part of the certification process. There are two more modules and while their function is unknown, we can’t expect much given the relatively low standing of this phone.
