Weekly poll: how important is a high refresh rate screen to you? 
Months ago we asked you about what the ideal smartphone screen looks like and the answer was a flat 120Hz panel with 1080p resolution. That more or less describes the iPhone 13 Pro/13 Pro Max screen, doesn’t it?
Now that Apple finally took the plunge and offered a high refresh rate screen on mobile (something it has done for tablets since the 2017 generation of iPad Pros), we wanted to ask again – how important is 120Hz? Or any other frequency above 60Hz?

5G is still advertised as a new and exciting development in mobile technology, but it has been over 2 and a half years since the first 5G phone launched, so it’s not all that new. And yet some countries are still at the trial stages and don’t have a commercial 5G network active. Not that this stops smartphone makers from boasting about launching the latest 5G phone.

Realme announced the GT Neo2 a few days ago in China and said it would launch the smartphone globally without providing a timeframe. Later, on Twitter, Mr. Madhav Sheth – VP of Realme and CEO of Realme India, Europe, and Latin America – confirmed that the GT Neo2 will come to India, and now Mr. Sheth tells us that the GT Neo2 will launch in the company’s biggest market in October.
The Realme 8s 5G is the latest phone to come to us, just days after we got its sibling Realme 8i. It comes in Universe Blue color and is the first commercially available phone with Mediatek’s Dimensity 810 chipset.
Amazon’s hardware division is definitely keeping busy, most recently, with the announcement of an updated Kinde Paperwhite and Paperwhite Signature Edition. There is another hardware announcement event on the horizon, officially set for September 28. A Bloomberg report claims to offer a potential insider scoop on the hardware Amazon is likely to unveil.
