Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE brings Snapdragon 778G in a familiar body The ongoing global chipset shortage is no joke, Xiaomi could not keep up supply of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 780G SoC for its Mi 11 lite 5G and is thus launching the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE (New Edition) powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset. The 778G uses TSMC’s 6nm node instead of Samsung’s 5nm seen on the 780G. The only difference between the two phones is the chipset choice with the rest of the specs being identical.

Fairphone 4 5G leaks in Swiss retailer’s listing We’ve heard that Fairphone is working on a new device and we now have out first look at it alongside its key specs. Twitter user @L4yzRw spotted the yet to be announced Fairphone 4 5G on a Swiss online retailer’s website complete with pricing and detailed images. The device will bring a revised look compared to its predecessor with a larger 6.3-inch display with a waterdrop notch cutout.

Watch the Xiaomi 11T series event here It’s a big day for Xiaomi as the maker is looking to introduce its latest premium phones and tablets. The event starts at noon UTC/8PM Beijing time and you can tune in to watch via the embedded stream below.

The event will be headlined by the Xiaomi 11T series (no Mi branding) and we’re also waiting on a revised Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE (New Edition) alongside the global debut of the Xiaomi Pad 5 Android tablet.
