Google teases Pixel 6 on Instagram as “Certified Pixel Lover”
Google has posted a cheeky teaser for its upcoming Pixel 6 smartphones on its @madebygoogle handle. The image shows the Pixel 6 in a grid of 4 x 3, all showing different color backgrounds to showcase Android 12’s Material You, which pulls colors out of your wallpaper and applies them throughout the UI. This teaser is a play on Drake’s new album cover art for “Certified Lover Boy”, which shows twelve pregnant emojis arranged in the same fashion.

Next week, on September 14 to be precise, Apple is holding its grand unveiling event for the oft-leaked iPhone 13 family. Despite the negative connotations in some places, countless leaks have “confirmed” (as much as any leak can) that the company will in fact be using the number 13.

DJI today announced the OM 5, the next generation version of its handheld gimbal for smartphones. The OM 5 is a third smaller than its predecessor and also features an extension rod.
During CES at the beginning of the year Motorola demonstrated a new wireless charging technology – unlike typical Qi chargers, it allowed phones to be charged at up 1 meter away (3.3 ft). And it could handle two devices simultaneously. The company has developed the second generation of this technology with much improved capabilities.
