The Google Pixel 6 phones to have in-display fingerprint readers
Google officially confirmed some details about the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro earlier this month and even shared images of the two upcoming phones. Unlike the Pixel 5, the 6-series shows no sign of a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. Where is the reader then? Built into the display, by the looks of it.
Hiroshi Lockheimer posted a screenshot, probably from the Pixel 6 Pro (Lockheimer is a founding member of the Android team). The post was deleted, but you can clearly see the fingerprint reader icon.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset – we knew that already from Geekbench results. Now the details listed on the Google Play Console confirm this and make it clear that this isn’t the Plus chip (look at the clock speed of the prime core).

A new Motorola smartphone launched in Australia earlier today – the Moto G50 5G. The phone shares plenty of similarities with the Moto G50 launched in March though the new model is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chipset instead of the Snapdragon 480. The rest of the core specs are quite similar across the board save for the cameras and fingerprint sensor placement.
