Android 12 Beta replaces ongoing call “bubble” with “chip”
Bubbles was a standout feature for Android 11 when it launched last year. The bubbles are akin to Facebook Messenger’s Chat Heads and the dialer app takes this behavior when a user swipes out of the call screen. Notifications also appeared here and floated over the interface whenever a new notification came in for supported apps.

In a blog post, Facebook Messenger announces that it is introducing new features and more security in voice and video calls. The communication app has seen a surge of voice and video calls, more than 150 million video calls per day, according to Facebook.
