Stable HarmonyOS is now available to 65 Honor and Huawei devices

The official account of HarmonyOS has just announced that 65 devices from the Huawei and Honor portfolio are now eligible for a software update. The stable OS is available to an extended list of phones and tablets, but only for their Chinese variants that come with extra pre-loaded apps.

Honor Play 5T Pro announced with Helio G80 and 64MP main cam

Honor silently launched a new phone in China with the Play 5T Pro. The budget device comes with a 6.6-inch LCD with FHD+ resolution and a punch-hole cutout for its 16MP selfie cam.

The back brings a 64MP main shooter and a 2MP depth helper and an LED flash.

Huawei nova 8 escapes China with Kirin 820E chipset

Huawei has introduced the nova 8 back in December, and the phone now hits its first interanational market.

However, instead of coming with the Kirin 985 chipset with a 2.58 GHz CPU, the company is bringing the nova 8 to Russia with Kirin 820E – a 7nm mid-range chipset.

The Huawei nova 8’s CPU has six cores – 3x Cortex-A76 at 2.22 GHz and 3x Cortex-A55 at 1.84 GHz. The GPU is Mali-G57, and the rest of the specs remain the same as the Chinese variant. Russian customers will get the 8/128 GB memory variant, but there is no card slot.

Honor Earbuds 2 Lite with ANC, 32 hour battery life arrive in Europe at €70/£70

The Honor Earbuds 2 SE were unveiled in mid-June for the Chinese market. Now, after a quick name change to Honor Earbuds 2 Lite, the TWS headset is coming to several countries in Europe. It will be available from August 7 (this Saturday) and you will be able to pick one up from hihonor.com.
