OnePlus rolls out Oxygen OS Open Beta 12 for OnePlus 8 series

A new update is now rolling out if you participate in the Oxygen OS Beta program on either the OnePlus 8 or the OnePlus 8 Pro. Although Android 11 rolled out to these devices late last year, the Beta channel lets users try new features before they arrive to the public release channel for the purpose of identifying any possible bugs.

Samsung will likely not announce Galaxy S21 FE at August 11 Unpacked

Samsung will be holding the second major Unpacked event of the year next month where it will announce a couple of new foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Buds2, and two new smartwatches. The OnePlus Nord 2 finally became fully official yesterday, and today the Chinese company is already issuing an update for it.

This is the first ever update for the Nord 2, and in all likelihood will be waiting for you to download (285MB) and install once you take your device out of the box.

Nokia’s most barebones phone, the 1.3, hasn’t been forgotten update-wise, although the long-forgotten promise of Android One phones receiving new major versions of the OS in a timely fashion is still hilarious in hindsight.

Report: Apple iPhone 13 to support 25W wired charging

The latest rumor pertaining to the iPhone 13 series is regarding the phones’ charging speeds. A report from MyDrivers cites “foreign media” who apparently learned through supply chain partners that Apple might be increasing the battery charging speeds of some iPhone 13 models to a peak current of 25W.

OnePlus Nord2’s Oxygen OS is merged with Oppo’s Color OS

OnePlus and Oppo recently revealed that the two smartphone brands would merge their Android skins Oxygen OS and Color OS, respectively. We already saw this happen with the OnePlus 9 series in China, which shipped with Color OS, replacing Hydrogen OS – OnePlus’ Android skin for the Chinese market.
