Geekbench delists OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro over benchmark manipulation allegations

In a recent lengthy and in-depth investigation, AnandTech found a very interesting “optimization” on the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro when it comes to various apps. In essence, the OxygenOS analyzes the apps it will more often than not limit the performance in what we assume is a bid to extend battery life. However OxygenOS would not offer the limited performance to benchmarking apps, which Geekbench sees as cheating.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE’s key specs leak through a TENAA listing

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has been a subject of numerous leaks in the last couple of weeks signaling a nearing announcement. Now a TENAA certification listing is here to reveal a bit more about the handset.

The listing isn’t complete yet so we only get some of the specs instead of the full set. The phone will pack a 6.4″ AMOLED display of 120Hz refresh rate and a 4,370 mAh battery, which is probably the minimal capacity meaning the typical capacity would be 4,500 mAh.

Rumor claims the vivo X70 will have a 1/1.5″ camera sensor with gimbal stabilization

vivo must be preparing to launch the next generation of its X-series phones and it sounds like it will focus on camera improvements, even for the vanilla vivo X70 model. Leakster Digital Chat Station offers the first unofficial details about the phone.

It will feature a 1/1.5” sensor as well as 5-axis image stabilization, that should be the gimbal stabilization that vivo has reserved for some of its best models. Even though Oppo already launched its Reno6 series in China and also plans to bring them to India next week a new EUIPO certification listing has now shown what looks like a gaming edition Reno5 device.

Samsung Galaxy M22, Galaxy A12s get receive multiple certifications

The latest smartphones that Samsung is about to announce are the Galaxy M22 and the Galaxy A12s, as evidenced by their newly issued Bluetooth certifications.

The Samsung Galaxy M22 has also been certified by Thailand’s NBTC with a model number SM-M225FV. We already know it will have a Helio G80 chipset and a 4GB RAM option, thanks to an entry on Geekbench.
