Samsung to talk Watch Design Studio and Good Lock at MWC 2021

This year’s belated MWC 2021 is almost here and we already some of the things Samsung will talk about during its event. The company just filed two new trademarks with the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office). They are for Samsung Watch Design Studio and Samsung Good Lock.

LG Velvet 2 Pro unboxing video shows off its pressure-sensitive “buttons”

The LG Velvet 2 Pro will never get an official release, but at least it got an unboxing video, featuring one of the several thousand units that were sold to LG employees. This video shows the keyless design that could have been.

The phone has several “buttons” – a power button on top, two volume buttons on the side plus a Google Assistant button – except that they are pressure-sensitive pads rather than true buttons. It looks like the interface renders a few small rectangles as a reminder of where they are located (they look hard to find by touch).

vivo V21e 5G specs leak in full ahead of the official unveiling, point to Dimensity 700 chipset

The vivo V21e was unveiled in April alongside two V21 models – a 4G and a 5G version, while the “e” phone was 4G only with a Snapdragon 720G chipset. Last week the company officially confirmed that there’s a 5G version of the “e” phone coming and it will be unveiled tomorrow. Until then the company is mum on specs.

That’s not the case with leaksters, however, 91Mobiles has a detailed spec sheet for the phone as well as images that show the new design. This includes a dual camera replacing the triple cam on the 4G V21e.

Check out this photo of iPhone 13 dummies, showing all four models. Dummies are not functioning phones, they just represent the physical dimensions of a device, which is useful for designing and testing cases.

There’s not much to see, Apple will reuse the 12-series design with only slight modifications. You may have already noticed that the iPhone 13 and 13 mini have switched to a diagonal placement for the rear cameras instead of vertical.

Micromax In 2b and In 2c benchmarked with Unisoc chipset, show Helio G80 level of performance

Micromax is staging a comeback and plans to release 4-5 new products every quarter, said co-founder Rahul Sharma. It already launched 1-series devices like the Micromax In 1, the In Note 1 and In 1b, now clues of the upcoming 2-series have surfaced.
