Sony Xperia 1 III’s US pre-orders to start from July 1

The Sony Xperia 1 III smartphone was announced over two months ago, with promises to be launched “at the start of this summer”. The Sony United States division has now listed the phone with a pre-order date of July 1. The price will be $1,299.99, which is pretty much the same worldwide, including Russia and China.

The Xperia 1 III is the first smartphone globally with a 4K 120Hz OLED screen. It brings variable focal length telephoto lens, ZEISS lenses with T* coating on all three 12MP shooters, and 4K video recording at 120fps.

The Samsung Galaxy M22 we’ve been hearing about for a while now has moved a step closer to launch as it bagged Bluetooth certification.

The Galaxy M22 is listed on Bluetooth SIG’s website with model code SM-M225FV_DS, where “DS” signifies dual-SIM support. The certifying authority also tells us that the M22 will come with Bluetooth 5.0, but other than that, it doesn’t divulge anything about the smartphone.
