Samsung Galaxy M22 to support 25W charging, only ship with 15W charger

Samsung Galaxy M22 to support 25W charging, only ship with 15W charger

The Samsung Galaxy M22 isn’t new to the rumor mill as some of its specs leaked a while ago. But a fresh FCC certification is here to tell us that the phone is getting closer to launch and that it supports 25W fast charging.

However, there’s a catch. According to the listing, the device will ship with a 15W charger so you’d have to buy the 25W-rated charger from Samsung to take advantage of the fast charging. This is not the first time the manufacturer has shipped a phone with a lower-rated charger to cut on cost and the Galaxy M22 is a budget entry anyway.

So far, clues suggest that…

Apple iPhone 12 mini production reportedly halted

Apple iPhone 12 mini production reportedly halted

It’s no secret that the iPhone 12 mini underperformed in terms of sales compared to the rest of Apple’s current iPhone lineup. Now, TrendForce is reporting that the 12 mini is no longer in production, reaching the end of its life cycle. The phone is still up on Apple’s website and will continue to sell as before until stock lasts.

Apple is expected to focus on driving sales of the three non-mini models in the iPhone 12s series in view of the fact that the iPhone 12 mini (which reached End-of-Life ahead of time in 2Q21) suffered disappointing sales performances compared to other models…

Samsung Galaxy A51 finally receives Android 11 update with One UI 3.1 in the US

Samsung Galaxy A51 finally receives Android 11 update with One UI 3.1 in the US

Samsung used to have a very bad rep for updates going out to its unlocked smartphones sold in the US, and while the situation has improved somewhat, it’s still not great. Case in point: the unlocked US-bound Galaxy A51 is now starting to receive the update to Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top.

That’s all fine and dandy, until you remember that international units got Android 11 back in February. That’s about four months of delay right there for you yanks. Anyway, the new Android version from 2020 is finally on its way to you now.

It arrives over the air as build version…

OnePlus Nord N200 will get only one major Android update

OnePlus Nord N200 will get only one major Android update

The OnePlus Nord N200 is in a weird state right now having been semi-announced by T-Mobile last week, but not being up on OnePlus’ own website. Regardless, the phone is headed to the magenta carrier where it will be available to buy from June 25. That’s also when it looks like it may go up for pre-order at other US retailers, and we don’t yet know exactly when or if the phone will be offered in other countries.

It’s all kind of a mess. However, if you were more concerned with OnePlus’ update policy for the new device, especially given the iffy history the Nord line has had with that, we…
