Apple iPhone 13 to add an orange color to its palette

For every new iPhone generation Apple picks a new hero color – last year it was blue, before that it was green. This year it could be orange as can be seen in the latest renders by Ian Zelbo (who also rendered the MacBook and MacBook Air).

Keep in mind that the Apple typically splits the hero color in two, i.e. the “Pacific Blue” of the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max is less saturated than the “Blue” of the 12 and 12 mini. Rumor: the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 can be up to 20% cheaper

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 cost $2,000/€2,000 at launch, later dropping to $1,800/€1,800 and now even less. Make no mistake though, it is still a very expensive device. There may be some good news on the horizon – rumor has it that the next generation of Galaxy foldables will be up to 20% cheaper at launch.

Note the “up to”. If Samsung does find a way to knock a fifth off the price, the Galaxy Z Fold3 will start at $1,600/€1,600. Expensive, yes, but it’s moving towards a more reasonable level. And this could push the prices of the Z Fold2 lower – it’s currently €1,535 in Germany, too close…

Infinix Note 10 and Note 10 Pro launched in India

Nearly a month after their official launch Infininix brings over its Note 10 and Note 10 Pro to the Indian market. They pack 6.95-inch LCDs with 90Hz refresh rates and 5,000mAh batteries. The big change comes in the chipset department where the Pro brings the more capable MediaTek G95 paired with 8GB RAM while the vanilla model dials back to the Helio G85 SoC and 6GB RAM.

Samsung showcases a stretchable OLED skin patch

Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT) announced a working prototype of a stretchable OLED skin patch that works as a fitness tracker. It can attach to the wrist working as a replacement of the fitness band and integrates a couple of sensors too.

The patch is placed on the inner side of the wrist so moving the wrist itself won’t affect the display’s performance. Samsung used a polymer compound with high elasticity and a modified elastomer. The Galaxy S22 series are rumored to offer a number of camera improvements over its predecessors and under-display selfie cameras was expected to be one of those. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 color options revealed

The latest rumor surrounding the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip3 is here courtesy of noted tipster IceUniverse and it brings some clarity on the color options coming to the clamshell foldable. Based on this new info we should expect four colorways at launch including a light violet, simple black and more interesting green and beige options. According to the leasketer these are the final color options we’ll see at next month’s Galaxy Unpacked event.
