OnePlus 9R receives a hotfix for battery drain

Just a few days ago, OnePlus pushed a rather big update to the OnePlus 9 series addressing some software, camera and battery issues. However, it seems that the update to OxygenOS 11.2.6.6 didn’t go so well for the OnePlus 9R and caused some battery drain problems.

The hotfix to OxygenOS 11.2.3.3 seems to address just that. The changelog is pretty short but it also vaguely mentions that the patch solves a known issue. Sounds like a minor bug has been squashed.

vivo Y73 with triple camera teased ahead of launch

vivo unveiled the Y73s last October, and it will soon follow up with the vanilla Y73 as the Indian division’s Director of Brand Strategy, Mr. Nipun Marya, posted the phone’s teaser on Twitter.

The image reveals the design of the Y73’s rear panel, which is different than the Y73s’. The camera island, which includes three shooters, also has a different shape. It looks similar to the camera modules on the vivo X60 and X60 Pro.

Samsung Galaxy M21 Prime Edition to be released in India soon

The Galaxy M21 has been released a little over a year ago in India and according to a couple of certification websites, the Prime Edition of the handset is about to make its debut too. The model number and marketing name have been spotted on Google Play Supported Devices list, Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and Samsung’s Indian support page.

Black Shark 4 gets a new memory variant

The Black Shark 4 gaming smartphone unveiled in March now comes in a new memory configuration in China – 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It’s priced at CNY2,999 ($470/€385) and is up for purchase through Black Shark’s official website and JD.com.

At CNY2,999, the new 8GB/256GB model costs the same as the 12GB/128GB version, so the purchase decision depends on whether you want more RAM or storage. The other variants come in 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 12GB/256GB configurations, priced at CNY2,499 ($390/€320), CNY2,699 ($420/€345), and CNY3,299 ($515/€425), respectively.

iQOO Z3 price in India rumored

We already know that vivo sub-brand iQOO is going to make the Z3 smartphone official for the Indian market on June 8, with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC on board.

You may however have been wondering about its price. According to a new leak, the phone will start at INR 19,990 for the version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, although this could also be INR 1,000 more.

The 8/128GB version is said to be priced at INR 21,990, while the top of the line variant with 8/256GB is rumored to go for INR 23,990.
