ByteDance CEO is stepping down, admits lacking managerial skills

Founder of TikTok and CEO at ByteDance Zhang Yiming has announced in a memo to employees he is stepping down from his role, admitting he lacks “some of the skills that make an ideal manager.”

His successor will be Liang Rubo, ByteDance co-founder and HR head, and the two men will be working together for the next six months to ensure a smooth transition.

Android 12 to natively support third-party app stores

Android has historically allowed third-party app stores to be installed as well as sideload individual APKs but the process of doing so is not very streamlined and there’s no way to update sideloaded apps automatically.

Just days after the first update, Asus has started rolling out another firmware for its Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip flaship duo – version 30.11.51.44 and 30.11.55.39, respectively.
