Google faces €100 million fine in Italy for “abuse of dominant position” of Android Auto

A new release published by Italy’s Antitrust Authority calls out Google for its “abuse of dominant position” and fined Google for €100 million on the grounds that Google excluded Enel X’s app JuicePass, an app that helps drivers find and reserve spots at charging stations.

vivo to unveil its first noise-canceling TWS earphones on May 20

vivo published a teaser video for its first noise-canceling TWS buds called vivo TWS 2. The video is mostly about the design of the buds and confirms the announcement date – May 20.

The TWS 2 will adopt an in-ear design, quite similar to the AirPods Pro but with shorter stems. There’s also a dedicated button for the active noise cancellation and the case looks a bit bigger than before suggesting longer overall battery life too.

As we already mentioned, the pair will be announced on May 20 but the actual sales will begin on June 1.

After launching in China earlier this month, ZTE’s Axon 30 Ultra is set to go global with pre-orders starting on May 27. The latest flagship from ZTE will be available from the official ZTE devices website. Pricing is set at $749/€749/£649 for the 8/128GB trim while the 12/256GB version will go for $849/€849/£739.

For comparison prices in China start at CNY 4,700 which converts to $720/€600. Those who pre-order their Axon 30 Ultra will be treated to a pair of LiveBuds TWS for free. Open sales of the Axon 30 Ultra are set to begin on June 4.
