Xiaomi is no longer blacklisted by the US government

The Chinese company Xiaomi is no longer blacklisted by the US government, following a lawsuit to US courts. According to Bloomberg, sides agreed “upon a path forward that would resolve this litigation without the need for a contested briefing”, meaning the US Defense Department backed down from de-listing the manufacturer from global benchmark indexes.

The conflict first began in November 2020, when former US President Donald Trump designated Xiaomi as a “Communist Chinese military company”, barring American citizens and companies from investing or dealing with the maker.

Sony Xperia 10 III on preorder in Germany, free noise canceling headphones included

Nearly a month after its official announcement, Sony’s Xperia 10 III has finally gone on pre-order in Germany. The first midrange Xperia with 5G connectivity comes bundled with a pair of Sony WH-CH710N noise canceling headphones and costs €429.

The Realme 8 and Realme 8 5G smartphones officially arrive in Europe today, several weeks after the global launch in the Asia Pacific region. The first three countries that will get the midrangers are the United Kingdom, Italy, and Spain.

vivo launched the Y12s last year, and today, the company followed it up with a new version called vivo Y12s 2021. The two are largely identical with a few minor differences.

For starters, last year’s Y12s has a Helio P35 SoC at the helm, whereas the Y12s 2021 is powered by the Snapdragon 439 chip. The Oppo Reno6 series is inching closer, and today a leakster from China revealed the alleged specs of the Reno6 Pro and Reno6 Pro+ smartphones. According to the source, the non-Plus phone will sport a Dimensity 1200 chipset, while the most premium member of the lineup will run on Snapdragon 870.
