LG reports impressive Q1 results as mobile division heads for the exit

LG announced its mobile division will be closed this year since it cannot turn profitable in the current market. However, the company’s report confirms all other branches have posted a yearly increase in sales, bringing the total revenue to KRW18.8 trillion – the most LG has ever recorded between January and March.

Honor recently announced its Play 5T Youth and now we have exclusive images of another device from the series called the Play 5. The phone will feature a flat frame design instead of the round corners found on more recent Honor phones. The front will house a waterdrop notch while the back features a quad cam setup with a 64MP main cam.

The Honor Play 5 will support fast 66W charging and is expected to come with a midrange price tag. We’re also expecting better specs across the board compared to the Play 5T Youth. We’ll update you with more details when we can.
