Realme 8 5G arrives with Dimensity 700 chip and 90Hz LCD

Realme and its CEO are big fans of 5G – they want to make 5G affordable to everyone, which is where phones like the new Realme 8 5G come in. The company noticed that some consumers turned away from the vanilla Realme 8 because it lacked 5G, so it created this model.

Samsung expands its Upcycle program for reusing old Galaxy phones at home

Back in January Samsung restarted its Upcycle program giving you new ways to use old Galaxy smartphones at home, instead of just throwing them away or giving them for recycling. The initiative allows older devices to receive a software update through the SmartThings app, essentially turning them into light sensors, baby monitors and other camera and audio solutions.

The program is now available in the United Kingdom, the United States, and South Korea. It allows owners of unused Galaxy smartphones to repurpose them to parts of their connected homes.

Oppo K9 listed on JD.com ahead of May 6 launch

Oppo is gearing up to introduce its K9 phone in China on May 6 with 65W charging and a 64MP camera. Ahead of its announcement, the phone made a surprise appearance on retailer JD.com’s database and is now available for pre-booking. The listing comes complete with images and some key specs.

Samsung’s India-exclusive Galaxy F line is getting a new member dubbed Galaxy F52 5G. The handset was spotted on Chinese regulatory agency TENAA with images of the device alongside some of its key specs.
