DigiTimes: Samsung and LG will supply LTPO panels for the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max

You’ve heard it before and you’ll probably keep hearing it until September – Apple will use LTPO OLED panels on its iPhone 13 Pro duo. The latest report comes from DigiTimes, which says that Samsung and LG will both be supplying panels.

Amazfit Bip U Pro goes on sale in India starting April 14 for INR4,999

The Amazfit Bip U Pro introduced last year will go on sale in India starting April 14 through Amazon.in and the company’s official Indian site. It’s priced at INR4,999 ($65/€55) and will be available in three colors – Black, Pink, and Green.

Xiaomi and Oppo’s in-house 5G chipsets may arrive this year

According to the latest reports from Taiwan, smartphone manufacturers Xiaomi and Oppo are working on their own custom 5G chips and could be ready by the end of 2021.

Unisoc, a Shanghai-based chipset company, is also working on SoC with support for next-gen connectivity.

After Huawei’s troubles where its supply of Kirin chips was cut Xiaomi and Oppo likely want to diversify their supply.

Upcoming Honor phone certified by TENAA and 3C in China

We haven’t heard much from Honor in the past few weeks but a pair of new listings from China reveals a new smartphone is in the works. The device bears the KOZ-AL00 model number and features a 6.51-inch screen with a waterdrop notch and three cameras on the back housed in a square cutout.
