vivo X60t announced with Dimensity 1100, 120Hz screen, and triple camera

vivo announced the X60 and X60 Pro last December and followed up with the X60 Pro+ in January. Now the company has added a new member to the lineup, dubbed vivo X60t.

The vivo X60t looks similar to the vanilla X60 but comes with the Dimensity 1100 SoC under the hood, unlike the Chinese X60 that has an Exynos 1080 chip at the helm and the global X60 which is powered by the Snapdragon 870.

Samsung’s new Galaxy SmartTag Plus is now available in the US for pre-order

Samsung first introduced the Galaxy SmartTag and SmartTag Plus back in January when it announced the Galaxy S21 series. From this point on, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold2 will be $200 cheaper in the US and £200 cheaper in the UK. This is not a temporary offer or anything like that, it’s a permanent price cut, which makes the company’s foldable device slightly more affordable than before – albeit it’s still solidly in “bonkers expensive” territory even so.

So, the Z Fold2 is now $1,800 in the US, and £1,600 in the UK.

Additionally, in the UK Samsung is offering a 60-day “trial period” for both the Galaxy Z Fold2 and the Galaxy Z Flip. This means you can grab one and then for 60 days you can trade it in at…

Pixel 6 will reportedly use custom Google silicon

This year’s Pixel devices will reportedly use custom Google silicon, according to 9to5Google.

As per this report, the upcoming Pixel 6 smartphones — codenamed “Raven” and “Oriole” — will employ this custom SoC (system-on-chip). These devices are part of a platform known as “Slider”, which also encompasses future Chromebook devices that will use this SoC.
