Samsung’s fifth pair of wireless Galaxy earbuds are on the way, an APK teardown of the latest build of the Galaxy Live app reveals. The Android Police team was able to spot the reference to the Galaxy Buds2 moniker. The upcoming buds are codenamed “berry” and will serve as the true successor to the original Galaxy Buds released in 2019.

Apple’s WWDC 2021 will start on June 7, a free online-only event

Apple has set the date for its next Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) – it will start on June 7 and end on the 11th. Like last year, it will be an online-only event and it will be free for all developers to attend.

The most exciting part for non-devs is that Apple will showcase the upcoming versions of its various operating systems – iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, macOS and tvOS.

vivo’s Y30 series includes three smartphones – Y30, Y30 Standard Edition, and a Y30 for China. That number has now increased to four as the company just unveiled the vivo Y30g.

The vivo Y30g is built around a 6.51″ HD+ LCD with a notch for the 8MP selfie camera. Around the back, we get a dual camera setup comprising 13MP primary and 2MP depth sensor units. The third circle above the flash isn’t for a real camera.

Xiaomi announces 15″ laptop with E4 OLED display, 14″ model with 120 Hz LCD follows

We weren’t expecting new laptops today, but Xiaomi is on a roll – so, meet the Xiaomi Mi Laptop Pro 15” and 14”.

The 15” model boasts an E4 OLED display, this is the same type of panel used in Xiaomi’s flagship smartphones. It is very bright (for a laptop screen) with 600 nits peak brightness and features DC dimming.

Xiaomi unveils new logo and brand identity

Day two of Xiaomi’s Mega Launch event brought us the brand’s first foldable smartphone – the Mi Mix Fold but there was another non-tech announcement on stage. The new Xiaomi logo is here and it brings a brand new “Alive” branding identity designed by Japanese graphic designer Kenya Hara.

Xiaomi’s cutting edge Mix series is back with the Mi Mix Fold – the company’s first foldable phone that is packed with innovative features. So much so that the folding display may not even be the most interesting component on the phone.

The large internal screen is an 8.01” OLED panel with 4:3 aspect ratio (1440p+ resolution). It’s a tablet-sized display and Xiaomi claims it is the largest display on a foldable smartphone, although Huawei may disagree with this.
