You can already get $20 off the new OnePlus Watch

The OnePlus Watch got official yesterday at the Chinese company’s event during which it also unveiled the OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 9R.

The US pricing of the company’s first wearable is $159, but you can already get $20 off that. From now until April 14, you can claim a $20 off voucher that will then be automatically applied to your order when the smartwatch goes on sale next month.

That means you can purchase it for $139, which makes it even more attractive. The device has a 1.39-inch 326 ppi AMOLED touchscreen within a 46mm stainless steel case. It’s IP68 and 5ATM water and dust…

Oppo A74 5G stops by Geekbench with Snapdragon 480 chipset

Oppo’s A-series of entry-level and mid-range devices is going to expand even further soon with the addition of two new phones – the A74 and A74 5G.

The latter has just been spotted at Geekbench, where it was powered by the Snapdragon 480 chipset, Qualcomm’s entry-level 5G-capable SoC. As you can see, the prototype in question achieved a 523 single-core score, and a 1,758 multi-core score.

This specific A74 5G had 6GB of RAM when it reached Geekbench, but other versions with different amounts of memory may be offered when it goes on sale. Thanks to a bunch of different certifications…

Huawei Mate X2 in for review

Huawei Mate X2 in for review

The Huawei Mate X2 just flew in our office. The third generation foldable phone by the Chinese manufacturer switches the formula entirely – the X2 moves from the outward fold of the original Mate X and the Mate Xs to an inward fold, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2.

The retail box contains a rapid 66W charger, USB-C earphones, charging cable and a protective case that acts as a kickstand as well – certainly better retail package than its Samsung cometitor.

The Huawei Mate X2 also comes with a pre-applied protector on the external screen, while the internal has no such thing….

Oppo Reno5 Lite launches as rebadged Reno5 F in Ukraine

Oppo has just launched a new device for the Ukrainian market dubbed Reno5 Lite. It’s actually not entirely new as we’ve seen it before as the Oppo A94 in the UAE and F19 Pro in India. In Kenya, it goes by as the Reno5 F.

You get a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and an integrated fingerprint reader. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P95 coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The back houses a 48MP primary camera next to an 8MP ultrawide snapper, a 2MP macro cam and a depth sensor.

The phone boots Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top and packs a…

Alleged Huawei P50 Pro+ images show wild penta-camera design

Alleged Huawei P50 Pro+ images show wild penta-camera design

A couple of weeks ago OnLeaks posted 3D renders of the Huawei P50 and of the P50 Pro. Both devices share a curious design with two large circles on the pill-shaped camera bump. However, those circles were left blank.

Now another leakster, HoilNDI, has published renders of the previously unseen Huawei P50 Pro+, claiming to reveal what lives inside those circles. And it’s pretty wild – it’s a penta-camera design with a periscope and a smaller lens in one circle, plus a triple camera (and a ToF sensor?) in the other circle.

Xiaomi promises to bring Mi 11 phones to India soon, storage options revealed

The Xiaomi Mi 11 was introduced to the world earlier this year, but the Indian market is yet to see the new flagship. The company finally went on Twitter and revealed the whole series will be revealed “soon”. The tweet does not say whether it will be only the Mi 11 phone, or the Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra will join in in India, but the brand promised to bring “an all-new smartphone experience”.

Meanwhile, the Mi 11 Lite, the Mi 11 Pro, and a third mysterious Xiaomi phone, likely the foldable Mi Mix 4, have appeared on TENAA with their memory options.
