It’s slowly becoming a trend for DxOMark to publish audio reviews of unannounced phones. The latest unreleased device to get the audio review treatment is the Black Shark 4 Pro which is actually due to be announced tomorrow in China.

Starting off the review is a hardware overview of the Black Shark 4 Pro’s key specs. These include a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with punch hole cutout and a 144Hz refresh rate. There’s also the flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset alongside a 4,500 mAh battery with 120W fast charging.

OnePlus, the totally independent brand that has nothing to do with Oppo, has announced its Chinese units will switch from HydrogenOS to ColorOS, starting with the 9 series that will debut tomorrow. The announcement arrived on OnePlus community forums, but a staff member assured the global devices will stick to OxygenOS.

HydrogenOS is a bit different from OxygenOS, mainly because it lacks Google services and is adapted to the Chinese market. The new ColorOS will be customized, “tailored specifically for OnePlus devices”.

Samsung’s Galaxy A series event was the biggest thing to happen this week, helping the company regain control of our trending chart after having just two phones make the top 10 last time around.
