The LTPO AMOLED displays on the OnePlus 9 series will have 1-120 Hz adaptive refresh rate

The OnePlus 9 series will use the new LTPO type of AMOLED display. One of the key advantages of this tech is that it easily supports adaptive refresh rate – CEO Pete Lau revealed that the OnePlus 9 duo will be able to go from 120Hz all the way down to 1Hz.

This will be a boon for things like the Always On Display and other instances where the phone is showing a static screen. The CEO is also keen to point out that not all 120Hz panels are born the same.

The latest new feature coming to Huawei’s ecosystem is live Esports scores inside the Huawei Assistant. Huawei has partnered with live sport scores platform SofaScore to bring detailed scores, analyses and news on the three most popular Esports titles. Users will be treated to live scores from major gaming events for CS:GO, Dota 2 and League of Legends.

Spy shots suggest that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will also have a secondary display on the back

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will have a small display next to its camera – and so will the Mi 11 Pro, if this leak is to be believed. Parts for the camera island for the Pro version were photographed at the assembly line, showing an identical design.

That means two lenses in the upper left, a periscope lens below and the display on the right. The tiny display will show a countdown if you activate the camera’s self timer. It will have other functions too, of course, but it’s usability when framing a selfie shot with the rear camera is the biggest unanswered question right now.

Black Shark 4 will launch with improved cooling, SD 888 confirmed

Yesterday news got out that the Black Shark 4 gaming phone is set to launch next Tuesday, March 23 and now we get more details surrounding the soon to launch device. The official Black Shark Weibo page shared a short teaser video outlining the phone’s physical shoulder triggers which are making a return from the Black Shark 3 Pro as well as its new back design.
