Kuo: AirPods 3 not due until Q3 of 2021

As per renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple’s third generation AirPods will enter mass production in Q3 of 2021, which means Q3 is the earliest they can become available.

Motorola Moto G100 renders appear, confirm Edge S rebranding reports

Last month a phone called Moto G100 was spotted on Geekbench, suggesting it might be a rebranded Motorola Edge S for the global markets. Today a whole bunch of press renders of the very same G100 popped up, shwoing it’s identical to the Edge S down to the button placement, camera alignment and colors.

Say that you have $159,000 laying around that you want to invest in gold – but gold ingots don’t have 5G connectivity or 5 nm chipsets. Booo-ring. Caviar has a fix for this issue with the introduction of the Goldphone.

There’s two of them, actually, one version is based on the Apple iPhone 12 Pro, the other is based on the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. Sony Xperia Pro has the largest vapor cooling chamber in a phone yet

Every time a new gaming phone is announced we hear a lot about the cooling – so it is surprising that the biggest vapor cooling chamber is not found in a gaming phone but in the Sony Xperia Pro instead. OnePlus Nord’s Android 11 update fixed, rollout resumes

The developers needed a few days to the fix issues in OnePlus Nord’s Android 11 update, which was paused due to bug reports coming in. A hotfix is now rolling out to all Nord owners – both those who have the original Android 11 update installed and those who do not.

The new update’s firmware version is 11.1.1.1 and the changelog is almost the same as that of the original release. The key additions to the log are Optimized power consumption to increase battery life, Fixed the known issues and Improved system stability.

Xiaomi granted injunction in the US

In the early days of this year, Xiaomi was subject to an executive order ban by the US Department of Defense over allegations of being a “Communist Chinese Military Company”. The action undertaken in the last days of President Trump’s term prevented US companies from investing capital in Xiaomi and naturally raised concerns if more severe measures could be taken in a similar manner to Huawei’s ban.

In a sigh of relief, Xiaomi was granted a preliminary injunction by the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia which lifts the investment restrictions for US companies. U.S….
