Motorola Moto G30 in for review

The Motorola Moto G30 has arrived at our office, and we are preparing to put it through our review gauntlet to find out if it’s worth your money.

The retail box of the Moto G30 includes the usual paperwork, silicone case, and a 20W charger.

The Moto G30 has a Snapdragon 662 SoC under the hood and boots near-stock Android 11 out of the box. The smartphone comes in three memory configurations – 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB. And if that much storage isn’t enough, you have the option to further expand it up to 1TB via microSD card.

Xiaomi teases king phone, gaming one incoming

Xiaomi VP Lu Weibing went on Weibo to promote two upcoming phones by Xiaomi. One is the “machine king” (translated) and the other is a “e-sports game phone”.

Weibing says if people want those devices they should “wait a little bit”, not specifying how much exactly. If we’re to guess we’d say the devices in question are the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and the Black Shark 4, both of which are expected later this year.

Both will offer Snapdragon 888 chipsets with the Ultra focusing on imaging with a periscope zoom camera (either 5x or 10x) and the gaming phone possibly bringing a refresh rate…

OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro get 3C certification, charging speed revealed

There’s less and less intrigue left with the OnePlus 9 series. We know what to expect in terms of looks and specs ahead of the March 23 launch event and now we get another certification listing which confirms the charging speeds on both the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro.

Samsung Galaxy A52 5G listed by Polish and German retailers at higher than expected price

The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G can’t stay out of the stores even though the official announcement is still a few days away – we think that will happen on March 17 (Wednesday) when the A52 will be unveiled alongside the Galaxy A72. Both phones are expected to come in 4G and 5G flavors.

And it is exactly the A52 5G that has cropped up on a second retailer, this time in Poland. The listing is still up, though the store removed the price.

It was PLN 1,900, which works out to €415, which is higher than expected – when the phone showed up in a Saudi retailer it cost the equivalent of €365. And…

iQOO Neo5 stars in hands-on video

We’ve already seen several leaks and teasers for the upcoming iQOO Neo5 which is expected to debut next week on March 16 and now the device has appeared in a live hands-on video.

The short 1:25 minute clip shows out the Neo5’s design with the main focus being the 120Hz refresh rate display. We can see a demo of PUBG running on the Neo5 next to a phone with a pedestrian 60Hz panel.

In addition to the new hands-on video, iQOO’s official Weibo account released some high-quality renders of the device in its dark blue colorway.

Huawei P50 first renders reveal two huge cameras

Just one day after the first renders of the Huawei P50 Pro, @OnLeaks has shared images of the upcoming vanilla Huawei P50 as well. The phone will have two huge camera lenses on the back, while the front will be a flat panel with a tiny punch hole in the center.

The screen will be 6.3” in diagonal, but unlike the P50 Pro, it won’t have curved edges on the side. The whole device will be a lot bigger than the Huawei P40 – it will be 8mm taller and 3mm wider, while the camera bump will make the total thickness 10.6 mm (8.3 mm in the base).
