Snapdragon 8Gx Gen 1 logo leaks days before Qualcomm’s big announcement

Snapdragon 8Gx Gen 1 logo leaks days before Qualcomm’s big announcement What’s this now – a Snapdragon 8Gx Gen 1? A logo for a new Qualcomm chip was spotted in a staging site for the company by @Za_Raczke just days before the big announcement.

The title of the page is “Testing icon” and the icon in question sits besides a “Test123” label. Clearly this is a template that is meant to be filled in with real text (that is the point of the staging site), but that hasn’t happened yet.

Huawei nova 8 SE 4G is official with Kirin 710A

Huawei nova 8 SE 4G is official with Kirin 710A We only heard of a 4G version of the Huawei nova 8 SE yesterday, and today the maker officially announced it. Just as expected, it is powered by the Kirin 710A chipset and supports 66W fast charging.

The Huawei nova 8 SE 4G differentiates from the 5G version only by the chipset – it keeps the 6.5” OLED screen of FullHD resolution with an under-display fingerprint scanner and a waterdrop notch on top for the 16MP camera.

That feature is called Discover and was spotted by Chris Messina, who found it in a Spotify TestFlight build (TestFlight is the iOS way for developers to release beta versions). Discover is available as a new tab in the app UI.

This appears to be related to Canvas – the feature that allows musicians and bands to…

Apple has a neat table on its website that features all the gift card options, broken down into…
